The Friends of Bakewell Parish Church charity was set up in 2007 to support the promotion of All Saints’ Parish Church as central to the cultural heritage of the market town of Bakewell, Derbyshire.

The funds raised by Friends of Bakewell Parish Church are intended to support projects relating to the church building and, as such, to contribute to the historic heritage of Bakewell.

The Friends have funded a number of important projects for the Church over recent years which have included work on the fabric, such as reviewing and replacing the heating system, and the re-leading of the chancel, nave and Vernon chapel.

Friends also look to promote the historic and heritage values of the Church to the wider communities of Bakewell, and encourage research and learning, in particular looking at the ancient Anglian and Saxon stone collection – one of the largest collections in the country.
